Live at Duling Hall Jackson, MS 04/03/2016

Decent set. First of supporting tour DEER TICK. Nice guys from Rhode Island. Killer band. Still trying to find my feet with all these new songs while playing solo/figuring out the audience for these shows. Typically the opening slot can have a fair share of audience chatter. I totally understand, they came to see a band they really dig and are just arriving and seeing their friends and whatnot. Gotta power through and play the best I can. Bonus content: total ball breaking heckler in the front row. ha. Can’t wait for the new record. These tunes definitely shine with a full band.

Setlist:

  1. Untitled
  2. Great & Undecided
  3. Grand Old Trout (by Bill Mackay & Ryley Walker)
  4. Age Old Tale
  5. The Halfwit In Me
  6. The Roundabout
  7. Sullen Mind

  2. thank you so much for doing this - love your live interpretations even more than your recorded output. i really hope i don't sound like too much of an ass here, but i'm wondering is it possible (and easy) to break into separate mp3 tracks instead of one long mp3? if that is a total pain, then please carry on and pretend you never read this!

  4. thanks so much for this. i use the zoom recorder as well for gigs, once I got the recording levels sorted out, I got good results with it. I edit and split using Audacity too.
